Terms of service
Last updated: 28 September 2026
These terms govern use of the OP Inference API, dashboard and prepaid credits. Committed-use customers may hold a separate signed agreement, which prevails over anything here.
1. Agreement
By creating an account or sending a request to the OP Inference API (the “Services”) you agree to these terms with Original Pictures Technologies, Inc. (“OP Inference”, “we”, “us”), a Delaware corporation at 131 Continental Drive, Suite 305, Newark, Delaware 19713, United States.
If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. What the Services are
OP Inference is a routing layer. We resolve a public model id to a provider endpoint, enforce the policy and budget attached to your key, stream the response back and record usage. We are not the author of the models we route to, and we do not warrant the content they generate.
Failover only moves a request to another endpoint serving the same published model id. We will not substitute a different model for the one you asked for.
3. Accounts, keys and credits
You are responsible for keeping API keys confidential and for all use made with them. Each key carries a spend limit, an expiry and a model allowlist that you control; set them.
Credits are prepaid and drawn down as you use the Services. Prices for each model are shown in the dashboard before use; our fee is added on top of the provider’s own price, which we do not mark up. Unused credits do not expire while an account remains in good standing.
Taxes, where applicable, are added to invoices. Committed-use terms, discounts and minimums are set out in your order form.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Generate or distribute content that is illegal in the jurisdictions you operate in, including child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery.
- Impersonate a real person or organisation in a way intended to deceive, or produce synthetic media presented as an authentic record of something that did not happen.
- Target individuals with harassment, produce material designed to facilitate violence, or build systems whose purpose is unlawful surveillance or discrimination.
- Attack, probe or reverse-engineer the Services, circumvent rate limits, budgets or residency policy, or resell access in breach of section 3.
- Breach the acceptable-use terms of the upstream provider that serves a given call.
We may suspend a key or an account that is breaking these rules. Where the circumstances allow it, we will tell you first.
5. Your content and ours
Yours: you keep all rights in the prompts and inputs you send and, as between you and us, in the outputs returned to you. We claim no ownership over either, and we do not train on them.
Ours: we keep all rights in the gateway, its API design, routing logic, catalog, dashboard and documentation. Nothing here licenses you to resell the platform itself as a standalone service.
6. Availability
We publish engineering targets for the part of the request path we control and design for failover across providers, but self-serve accounts are provided on an “as available” basis without a contractual uptime commitment.
Service level commitments, credits and support response times are available on committed-use agreements. Ask [email protected].
7. Warranties and liability
Except as expressly stated, the Services are provided without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Model outputs may be inaccurate; do not rely on them without review appropriate to the use.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
8. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law. On termination, unused prepaid credits are refundable where applicable law requires it and otherwise at our discretion.
9. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Services or the law. Material changes are posted here and notified to account holders by email at least 30 days before taking effect.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
